Parallel Structure

Adalah bentuk berfungsinya conjuction (kata penghubung) untuk menghubungkan kata satu dengan kata lainnya, atau phrase (frasa) dengan phrase (frasa) yang lainnya, dan harus sejenis dalam satu susunan kalimat yang utuh.

Contoh:

   1.     The boy is handsome, diligent, smart, and rich

Merupakan Parallel Structure adjective (kata sifat)

   2.     Do you like coffe or tea?

Merupakan Parallel Structure noun (kata benda)

Bentuk lain dari Parallel Structure, sebagai berikut:

Harus diisi dengan yang sejenis, misal noun maka dengan noun pula, misal adjective maka harus dengan adjective pula, dst
